Churches. There are 2 churches in the village: Church of England and Independent Methodists. Services for both are held in All Saints Church. Further details can be found here.

Playground. Located just off Fore Street with a large playing field complete with goal post for a friendly kickabout. There are two play areas with equipment for all ages, the newest being the play equipment for ages 2-5 which was completed in 2025. A successful Lottery Grant application and several fundraisers from quiz nights to cream teas which were all very well supported by the community raised the £25,000 for this project to be seen to fruition. There is also a tennis court which is free for all to use and several pieces of outdoor fitness equipment (for over 16’s). No booking necessary if it’s free you can use it!

The Walnut Tree. We have a traditional village pub and hotel in our centre. Pete and Janine offer a good selection of drinks and food and a regular meeting place for clubs and villagers alike.
