MP and Somerset Councillors

Member of Parliament
West Camel belongs to the Glastonbury & Somerton Parliamentary constituency (Camelot electoral ward).  The current MP is Sarah Dyke (Liberal Democrat).

Somerset Council
Whilst the Parish Council is the first tier of  local government, the second tier is Somerset Council.  As of the 1 Apr 2023 district councils in Somerset ceased to exist.
